Jalapenos Poppers

- 12 ounces jalapenos, seeded and halved
- 12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 8 ounces shredded old cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons bacon bits
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Step 01
Set the CHEF-BUILT Deep Fryer temperature to 375 F.
Step 02
In a mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese and bacon bits and stuff the jalapenos with the mixture.
Step 03
Pour the milk and flour into separate shallow bowls. Dip the jalapenos first into the milk and then into the flour. Let it sit about 8-10 minutes to dry.
Step 04
Dip the now dry jalapeno into the milk and coat with breadcrumbs. For an extra thick coating, let it dry and repeat the process.
Step 05
Deep fry for 3 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain.
Step 06
Serve immediately.
